A true leader has the requirements of being prepared and capable to motivate and encourage others. True leadership is founded on ideas that are usefully passed on to others in a way that attracts them enough to act as the leader wants them to.

Leadership is the art of stimulating a group of individuals to perform towards accomplishing a common challenge. Leadership skills can be absorbed, and leaders may develop. While there are people who seem to be naturally endowed with more leadership potential than others, anyone can learn to become a leader by enhancing certain skills.

Some people confuse between a leader and a manager, a person can be both, but the two terms are not necessarily identical. To be a productive leader in business, you must have qualities that stretch far beyond management obligations.
